Yesterday, June 29, 2020, at 4 pm,
Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a sixteen-minute speech to all
the people of India. The speech was a brief call to the masses, in which he
mainly commented on the situation of corona in the country, and the mortality
rate of those affected by corona. Comparing India with other countries in terms
of the corona, he explained how we are coping with this global epidemic. There
seemed to be more focus on how our mortality rate is lower than in other
countries, which is great. At the same time, Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra
Modi made another big announcement, which was to provide free foodgrains to the
poor people of India during this lockdown, including wheat, rice, gram through
ration shops. The same scheme is being continued for the next few months, and
each member of the household will be given five kg of rice or wheat per month
and one kg of the gram, he said. Also, various festivals are starting in the
next few days and the plan will continue until the situation in and around
Corona improves properly. He announced that the scheme would continue till
Chhatpuja. By making such an announcement, Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi
has given a kind of relief to the poor people of the country. In his speech, he
thanked the peasantry for producing large quantities of food grains and for
being able to provide free foodgrains to the poor people of India for the next
few months. He thanked the farmers as well as the taxpayers of the country.
Because these are the taxpayers, they are paying taxes honestly without evading
any kind of tax and are contributing something to the income of the country, so
remembering that we are able to do all this, Narendra Modi thanked the
taxpayers.
Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi
made this announcement on the one hand and on the other hand, he did not utter
a single word on the growing atmosphere of tension between India and China.
There has been no talk of petrol prices going up in the country in the last few
days. Regarding the petrol price hike, ministers in the Modi government said
that the extra burden of providing free foodgrains to the country is falling on
the coffers of the government. Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that
we are able to provide free foodgrains to the poor of the country because the
farmers of the country have grown a lot of food grains. He thanked the farmers
for this reason. Also, deliberately Pronunciation of Chhatpuja and saying that the free
food scheme will continue till Chhatpuja, what is mean by this? is it means
upcoming elections in Bihar? There are a lot of issues that seem to be going on
in full politics.
Also, since July 1, the country has
changed a lot of rules, including the increase in the price of domestic gas,
changes in the rules of PF, changes in the rules for withdrawing money from
ATMs, henceforth the extra tax levied on a site. What does it mean that the
government is being systematically facilitated on how to get the most out of
the money and on the other hand the farmers and the country's honest taxpayers
are being thanked?
